A selected number of papers from the 2^nd International Lova conference will be published in an edited volume. Ashgate is interested in publishing the book.

Op vrijdagmiddag 8 juli, op de laatste dag van de tweede internationale LOVA-conferentie, is Prof. Dr. Willy Jansen, directeur van het Gender Studies Centrum aan de Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen benoemd tot erelid van LOVA.

Lova's 2nd International Conference Ethnographies of Gender and Conflict (6-8 July 2011) was a great succes. We welcomed more than 120 participants and listeners from more than 20 countries. We thank all participants for their insights and contributions. We were proud to have Rosalind Morris in our midst. We highly appreciate the sponsors and their generous support. Last but not least, we thank the organizing committee which worked incredibly hard to make it all possible.
